Complaints were conveyed to the president of Germany and ministries of education, law, and anti-discrimination there. The federal ministries were very cooperative — to the extent that they sympathized with the complainants and offered contact details for ministries in Kassel and its state (Hessen or whatever).
But, when the complaints reached Kassel, nobody followed up on them. Nazism is a norm there. ’So what? Silly boy professor, he’s our boy, a Nazi, so what? He’ll learn from his mistakes, what else? He’s just like his grandpa.’
